Information about this project

"TheRoadSlayer" is the culmination of my Game Developer journey at Senpai Academy. Drawing inspiration from survival horror classics like Resident Evil 7, Silent Hill P.T., and Alone in the Dark, I poured my gained experience into creating a thrilling game. Throughout the development process, I implemented various features that enhance the gameplay experience. Players can navigate menus, collect objects, and manage their inventory by accumulating, combining, examining, using, and discarding items. Additionally, I incorporated object inspection, allowing players to interact with objects by centering them on the screen and rotating them. The game also features widgets, dialogues, realistic pool ball physics, atmospheric background music, captivating animations, camera blends, door-opening mechanics using keys, a code-entry mini-game, a functional firearm with realistic shooting mechanics, a flashlight, and doors that open upon approach, among other engaging elements. To bring "TheRoadSlayer" to life, I utilized Unreal Engine 4, 3Dmax, Blender, Photoshop, and Quixel Bridge models. Additionally, I created various assets myself and incorporated models from SketchFab. Overall, "TheRoadSlayer" is a testament to my growth as a game developer and showcases my abilities to create an immersive and thrilling gaming experience.
